We love the creativity our wooden pegboard inspires, we keep seeing amazing images of our pegboards being leant and love the idea of them being moved around for extra creativity and freedom.
We decided to make a better solution and designed wooden stands that the pegboards fitted into.
They are hand crafted in Devon by a fantastic British furniture designer www.ayla.co.uk
After a recent trip to the V&A to see their Plywood- Material of the modern world exhibition we were desperate to have a chance to work with the material and this project came at just the right time. We designed the stands out of beech faced plywood, a material we've always loved which looks great with the wooden pegboard. It is CNC cut with six rubber feet on the bottom for extra stability.
We added a slot at the front to hold pens, tools and spare pegs and other pegboard accessories. This feature adds even more creativity and freedom when styling the pegboards and wire mesh mood boards.
The large pegboard stand also fits our wire mesh memo board, we are really pleased with this addition, the wire mesh was particularly difficult to lean, the stand makes it sturdy and protects the surface it sits on, this allows you to hang heavier items on the wire mesh mood board. The mix of materials works really well, we love the contrast between cnc cut plywood and powder coated metal.
